Ook voor schilderen

Een leuk stukje uit de krant. Schilderen met een open mind en openstaan voor verassingen is een van interessante zaken die bij dit vak horen. Kijken wat er gebeurt, daarop reageren en wellicht jezelf verassen met het resultaat. De balans en ook spanning tussen orde scheppen (in wat je verbeeld) en chaos toelaten maakt kunst fascinerend.

Choices, choices

So many things to paint, so many ways to paint them! Aaargh!! -must choose-…. Or maybe not. Painting in series seems to be the thing around the academy. It is recognizable indeed, but also a bit narrow. I like to paint persons, atmosphere, light and things I can relate to. That is not a series but a broad range of things.
